Hey, I'm using ACC Docs Exchange to Power BI for Revit/IFC files, but it feels like I dont get to access all my parameters in the file. For example I have a shared parameter called "XXAA" on every door in the project, now I want to filter the doors and see which doors actually have a value on said parameter. But I cant find it in the data set. I have the 3D-view and several other from Autodesk chosen(?) parameters.
How can I access my custom made Shared Parameters in my project?
Hi @VH___ ,
thanks for testing the Power BI Data Connector!
It is correct that the current version loads only a subset of parameters and we are currently working on a new version which will allow more flexibility and the integration of custom parameters. We will share an announcement here in the forum when we publish the new version!
Best, Lejla
Hi VH___,
We wanted to check if the shared parameters created in Revit are seen in the ACC Viewer for the source model.
You can reach out to us at data.exchange.support@autodesk.com and we can schedule a meeting to debug through this issue.
Thanks,
Sameer
@sameerjoshiAU81 Sorry for the late reply.
The shared parameters are seen in the ACC Viwer for the source model. The shared parameter for example XXAA has a value yes.
The first reply from @lejla.s made it sound like it was intented, but your reply makes me feel like it might be a bug?
I will send an email to data.exchange.support@autodesk.com linking to this issue.
Thanks VH___. Kindly let us know over email.
Also, we have released a new version of this connector (2.0.9) which enhanced support for parameters. Its available at this appstore link
"About This Version" section contains details about the release.
Thanks,
Sameer
