A creative space for storytellers, 3D artists, and filmmakers using Autodesk Flow Studio to bring their visions to life. Whether you're here to share your latest scene, learn new techniques, or connect with fellow creatorsβthis is where your story finds its people.
For those enjoying a week of relaxation - or those looking to escape the holiday chaos for a moment - check out this fun short film, Maria in the Real World, by YouTuber AI Video School.
Mike used Flow Studio to help bring this project together, and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! @aivideoschool - what was your favourite part of making this short film?
Question for creators: if you could jump into any world through a portal, fictional or real, where are you going?π
As a Canadian in the dead of winter, I'm always choosing Australia!
Cheers, and happy holidays my friends,

Hello, fellow creators!
I've started a new column series on Flow Studio this year for the Japanese Autodesk microsite βAREA JAPANβ!
https://area.autodesk.jp/column/tutorial/journey-with-flow-studio/01-4project-types/
These articles focus on Flow Studio information and testing results. I hope they prove useful for your Flow Studio journey.

Hey 3ds Max folks,
I wanted to ask a pretty open question: what parts of your animation or VFX workflow tend to feel the most repetitive or time-consuming?
One of our teammates at Autodesk explored this question and put together a short, anime-inspired film in just three days using 3ds Max, Arnold, and Flow Studio while working under some pretty tight time and resource constraints.
A lot of people donβt realize just how friendly Flow Studio can be, or that it can be used right alongside tools like 3ds Max (and others) to help automate some of that less-than creative work, which got me curious where people here feel the most friction day to day.
If you want to learn how that workflow came together, check out the latest blog here!
Don't be shy, letβs talk π€
Cheers, Dallas

Getting comfortable with AI can feel like a lot at firstβ¦
But being able to animate with just a camera and a story using Flow Studio, add VFX without everything turning into a technical puzzle, and keep using tools like Maya, Blender, Unreal, or 3ds Max makes it way easier to jump in and experiment.
If youβre a student, a beginner artist, or honestly just still figuring things out, this felt like a nice reminder that you donβt have to have it all dialed in to start. Like our art, weβre always evolving. And itβs okay to grab a little help from AI along the way π
Thought this new blog about getting comfortable with AI might be useful for some folks here: check it out! π
π I'm sure all of you (no matter your expertise) are still learning, growing, and building your skillset everyday - Whatβs your current creative rabbit hole?
My latest rabbit hole is short-form content. For socials, or honestly just for the fun of it.
Iβm not an influencer by any means, but watching how creators keep up with the demand for content is fascinating. My current shortcut? You guessed it - get comfortable with AI!
