C360 slow espacially when pushing parameters from excel

My model in Inventor 2017 takes about 20 seconds to update

in C360 through the "interface" it takes a minute.

but when I push parameters and properties collected from excel through a string to the same C360 model it takes 2 minutes or more.

why is the model in C360 slower than in Inventor? on the c360 server is Inventor running, so should it not be the same time?
