centerdrill in fusion for gang tool block turning on a regular mill

hi again,

i am setting up a gang tool block on a mill where i do turning on. the workpiece is mounted in the spindle an i want to drill center holes. the drill are mounted vertically on the machine table, to drill in the center of the workpiece in the lower face.

i did not find an operation with a boring bar in the turn toolpaths. is there none or did i just not see it?

is there a way to use fusion for this?

thanks,

michael

Turning Profile will let you choose a boring bar, but for drilling you'd just use a Drilling operation, same in Turning as Milling, it's the post and Setup that determine the code.

thanks,

i found the solution. but now i have another problem with the boring bar. there is this "toolpath crosses rotary axis" error and the boring bar goes through the material out.

is there a way to fix this?

thanks,

michael

If you set Go Home to Go home at Beginning and End it will retract:
