Hello @marthcdn009ERZG,

Welcome to the forum.

Are you wanting to use AutoCAD for 3D.

Or are you wanting to learn Fusion 360 or Inventor?

Thomas.

Hi Thomas,

I am currently using AutoCAD for the renderings and unfamiliar with any alternatives.  Is there a preference of programs particularly for the design trade?

Thank you for your note!

Hello Martha,

There is Inventor or Fusion 360 for 3D modeling.

From what i have heard and read Fusion 360 is more for hobbyists.

Whereas Inventor is more widely use by companies.

Thomas.

Thomas,

I am currently learning the AutoCAD rending, although tricky and not as user friendly as Sketch Up the graphics are so much more realistic and attractive!

Since I am approaching this new task on a professional level it sounds as though Fusion 360 is not what I am looking for.  I am unfamiliar with Inventor and do not have the knowledge or have done the research for a comparison.  Any thoughts?  Would it be worth a trial run?

Thank you so much for your help!

Hello,

Download Inventor and have a 30 Day trail. And see what you think.

There is a lot of YouTube videos, and help off this forum to help you learn it.

Also you can do renders on Inventor. Below i have attached a few quick renders i done a few weeks ago.
