I am a researcher for additive manufacturing, working with the UD Reasearch Institute on Air Force projects.  Currently, we have the need to print a conductive ink onto a conical surface.  We have added a rotary axis to a high-end 3-axis Aerotech system and are searching for a good way to generate the required toolpath.  I feel that it is basically a lathe with a syringe substituted for the cutting tool and oriented syringe tip down.

Hi Edwin,

You probably want to pick up this topic in one of the manufacturing forums, like Inventor or Fusion 360 CAM.
