I've been lurking on AutoCAD and AutoCAD-related forums for a while, and decided to make an account so that I can ask questions myself if I need to (and maybe eventually answer some as well)! I had a couple classes in CAD in college, and now I use C3D 2016 pretty much every day in my new-ish job as a Civil EIT. It's important that I am proficient with the software, so I've been doing online tutorials, and there's a fair amount of Googling involved. Most of my work is in stormwater design.
I'm particularly interested in features such as Analyze Gravity Network and the HydraFlow Storm Sewers extension. I think there's opportunity to make my workflow more efficient if I can learn how to use these tools properly. As far as I can tell, nobody in my office really uses them now, so I'm turning to online resources for training. If you have learning resources concerning these features or other stormwater design features, please share them with me :). I have C3D 2018 installed as well (I don't use it as much because not all employees have it installed, and I work in lots of shared files).
Nice to meet you all! Maybe there are some other EIT's or young professionals that are in the same boat as I am?
