My name is Scott and I'm new to the AutoDesk forum. I've been interested in CAD for 30 plus years but have never really done anything about it. Dabbled with AutoCAD prior to AutoCAD 10 days plus a plethora of other CAD programs. I tried to use them for work and home but could never really sit down and stick with it. (My work is not really a place for CAD) 12 years ago I found Linux and today it is the main driver in the house. Lots of different CAD programs played with and I guess the lack of knowledge let it peter out.
About 3 years ago I got a Raspberry Pi. From that I've found Eagle and Fritzing. I purchased a few components for these microcomputer and found there were no housings/cases for them which brought me back to searching for a CAD program.
I'm a member at Element14 and thru watching a number of webinars, I guess, I found AutoDesk and all of their programs, including Eagle.
I'm a hobbyist at heart and will likely not make too many designs, but one never knows.
So, Fusion 360 let's go!
