Welcome everyone and thanks for joining!

Break in comms here !

10:15:05 From Chris Benner (INFP-T) to Everyone:
Apologies for the technical difficulties. Thanks for staying with us.

10:16:17 From Stewart Duncan to Everyone:
When I set up my machine XYZ limits the numbers get transposed and as a result I cant set proper limits

10:17:16 From GEORGE ROBERTS to Everyone:
@Anonymous, by transposed to you mean they shift based on the setup you have selected?

10:17:26 From Stewart Duncan to Everyone:
So for an example when I set x at 420mm this ends up in my Z limits in the machine file

10:18:27 From Tom Easterday to Everyone:
Even on a lathe?

10:18:31 From Stewart Duncan to Everyone:
That would be good thanks

10:19:01 From GEORGE ROBERTS to Everyone:
Lathes currently aren't supported. When we add support for them, the co-ordinate system will likely not need to be the CAD coordinate system

10:19:38 From Tom Easterday to Everyone:
Yes, Z on a lathe. Didn't realize this wasn't supported on a lathe. 😞

10:20:46 From GEORGE ROBERTS to Everyone:
Not just yet, but it's something we are working on very soon. We have quite a bit of work to do on the tooling side for lathes first

10:21:31 From Sebastian Herrmann to Everyone:
When can we expect the control of the machine simulation?

10:21:47 From GEORGE ROBERTS to Everyone:
(the tooling side being having a notion of turrets and being able to assign the tools/tool blocks to different positions on the turret)

10:22:02 From GEORGE ROBERTS to Everyone:
@Anonymous, can you expand on what you mean by control?

10:22:55 From Tom Easterday to Everyone:
Thx, will keep an eye out for lathe support

10:23:30 From GEORGE ROBERTS to Everyone:
Feel free to reach out after (george.roberts@autodesk.com), I'd be interested in hearing what machines you'd like support for

10:23:39 From Sebastian Herrmann to Everyone:
the collision control of the machine Simulation*

10:24:24 From GEORGE ROBERTS to Everyone:
Ah perfect :). VERY soon. You will see in the 'whats coming' section. We are in the internal testing phase of machine collision detection now

10:25:34 From Sebastian Herrmann to Everyone:
great, we deliver a machine simulation to a customer on Friday 👍

10:26:25 From GEORGE ROBERTS to Everyone:
Nice! Feel free to drop me an email and we can discuss the requirements
