Revit Hints & Hacks – Are you driven by Chains? with Donnia Tabor-Hanson

I have been working in the Food Service for the last 8+ years and the majority of that has been on chain restaurants. During this time, I have gathered a lot of knowledge on how to work with this chain, or repeat, customers. The idea is not to always pull and old file and just rename it, that just helps keep compounding any problems that were originally there.

We covered things like titleblocks notes, item numbering, and chain templates. This is a peek behind the curtain of my daily world of customization and set up.

Here is a post about using Groups in a family to get things out to use in other families. I would also put it back into the family as a nested family and not as a group.
