Landscape design and modeling with AutoCAD is much easier with the use of Lands Design plugin. The product is available in Autodesk appstore. It´s a very user friendly program with BIM technology, which let´s us create 2D drawing, model the landscape project in 3D. By leveraging BIM technology, Lands Design automatically generates quantity takeoff lists of plants and other materials and lets you collaborate easily with other architectural and civil engineering software supported by Autodesk® AutoCAD®.
In addition it contains visualization tools such as virtual tour and walk mode. The plant database, inside the program is quiet extensive: It includes more than 2000 species with 2D and 3D model representations.
