Base extension Error Message

As I've done in the past to extend exterior wall sheathing & finish past a foundation: Select wall > Edit Type > Edit Structure > View: Section Modify Type > Modify > Select and unlock bottom of layers to extend > OK. 

I'm getting an error message when clicking OK: "Cannot extend layer(s) of the highlighted vertically compound wall." Base Extension in properties remains grayed out. Anyone have any insight?

The “Requests to the Server Have Been Blocked by an Extension” message is only for Chromium-based browsers. This means that Chrome, Chromium, Brave, Opera, Microsoft Edge, and other browsers could see this. In contrast, Safari, Firefox, and other, non-Chromium browsers don’t present this error.
