How You Can Help Influence the Next Version of AutoCAD

Hello! I'm Bud Schroeder, QA Analyst at Autodesk. After a break from teaching at AU (my last AU class was in 2017 at AU Las Vegas), I was asked to send in a proposal for Autodesk University this year.  This year, my proposal was "How you can help influence the next version of AutoCAD".  It seemed like a catchy title to me.

In this class, I will explain what the AutoCAD Customer Council is, how you can become a member, how your participation can help influence the next version of AutoCAD and more. So if you are headed to Autodesk University and have some time available, please follow the link below to sign up.

In my class, we'll also be discussing Autodesk's Alpha/Beta programs. I currently run the AutoCAD Customer Council Alpha/Beta Program. We run year-round Alpha and Beta programs which include AutoCAD, the AutoCAD web app, AutoCAD mobile, and all the AutoCAD toolsets. You'll get an early look at new features and be able to share feedback directly with the product teams, product managers, developers, designers, quality engineers, and more. We also have multiple surveys—your feedback helps us better understand your thoughts on new feature ideas as well as on enhancements to existing features. This session will help you understand what our Alpha/Beta program is, how you can become a part of it, and help influence the next version of AutoCAD!

What if you are not headed to AU this year?

Not to worry, Autodesk University has it covered in the Digital Conference. Best of all, its FREE! You can sing up and watch the live sessions online and check out the on-demand content. A week ago, I created a digital recording of my class, so you will be able to watch it that way as well. There is so much you can learn at AU, even if you cannot attend in person!

How can I sign up for the Digital Conference?

Head over to the Autodesk University website and sign in using your Autodesk account.  On the main page, all the way to the right is the link to the digital content.
