We’re excited to share the latest updates to the Autodesk Community that make it easier to keep track of unread replies, jump to the right place in a discussion, and enjoy a smoother localized experience. This release will go live next week.
What’s new:
- Fixing the Jump Logic: We’ve made navigation smoother when clicking on a topic from the board, sub-category, or industry pages. Going forward, clicking on a topic title from these pages will bring you to the topic itself rather than directly into the replies.
- Latest Reply Shortcut: The “Latest reply by” text will be clickable and will jump you directly to the latest reply on the topic page, making it much easier to follow ongoing conversations without extra scrolling.
- Unread Reply Count: We’ve introduced a new unread reply count to help you track unread replies within a read topic. Clicking this count will take you to the earliest unread reply, making it easy to catch up. Clicking the total reply count will continue to take you to the top of the reply section.
- Unlink Capability: We’ve fixed an issue where hyperlinks within the text editor could not be unlinked. After the release, you will be able to remove links as expected.
- Enhanced Mobile Breadcrumbs: On mobile, the parent nodes in breadcrumbs will be accessible. An ellipses (…) will display the full breadcrumb path when tapped, making navigation smoother.
- Improved Korean Translation: The translation “한국” will be corrected to “한국어” across Community Blog pages.
- Event Time Accuracy: The event homepage and event details page will display consistent times for live events.
- Mobile Embed Fix: We resolved the issue where embedding images from mobile was difficult due to a missing source selection button.
These updates are designed to make conversations easier to follow, more intuitive to navigate, and friendlier for our global community. Thanks for being part of the Autodesk Community, and have an amazing weekend!
