So in the first part we talked about official resources, and today we will talk about other resources (mainly YouTube channels) that can also be useful in getting to know each other and studied by Autodesk Fusion.

2. Informal

Etienne K

Etienne is a very cool "dude" with a sick (in the good sense of the term) and rich imagination. His channel has less than 7 thousand subscribers, but most of the videos are not inferior to the official channels in terms of views. And this makes sense. For those who are into the topic, most of his videos will not be something fundamentally new. Moreover, if you watch his video, you can see that the number of "tricks" is quite limited. But with each video, it reveals different facets of the same tools and tricks, and if you are interested in creating complex shapes, this channel is a must-watch for you. In the direction of Fusion, it has about 120 videos and each new one is a small holiday.

NYC CNC

A very cool channel, especially for those who work in the topic of CNC (CAM/CNC/NC). 400k subscribers. Tons of video content, but it's not all about Fusion. About two years ago, I would have classified it as official, but then they changed the sponsor... although now there is a video about Fusion again. In short, for ironworkers - a must-have.

Product Design Online

Over 4 years, Kevin Kennedy has created about 200 videos answering basic questions about the F360 with practical examples. Thus, he gained 170 thousand subscribers. But most videos have significantly fewer views. It should be noted that he recently started a good practical course "Learn Fusion in 30 days" and publishes one video a day.

Spark Plug (formerly RACK AND PINION)

CGBenner_3-1762436602620.png

Almost 20 thousand subscribers. The Indian channel on Fusion, and it's pretty good. A lot about the highlights of modeling and building assemblies. For 5 years, he created more than 200 videos, with an average view of several thousand viewers. A very worthy result.

Grant Holmberg-Baugher

17 thousand subscribers on a channel with a rather unusual topic, from which there is very little information. Namely, on the topic of FreeForm (Sub-D) modeling. The channel is 6 years old, with a pause of 2 years. Recently resumed activity. In total, more than 50 videos were made. For beginners who want to get acquainted with such modeling, it will be quite useful. Unfortunately, this is pure "practice" without explanations of the basics or theory, but still pretty good. However, I would say that this is just for the beginning. Because to be honest, if the author has been constantly using freeform for 6 years and can only demonstrate what he has on the video. Either the author can't do it anymore, or the program. And the Program can. However, it is quite useful to begin with.

Learn Everything About Design (formerly CADucation)

CGBenner_5-1762436602622.png

Channel for 10 thousand km. subscribers. In just two years, the author created 280 videos. Most of them are about Fusion. A very interesting channel that has videos of all the main points of using Fusion, conventional modeling, freeform, and even PCB or integration with other software: Blender. Very good English.

MAD’ About Designs

Indian channel with English dubbing. 4 years, almost 8k subscribers and just over 100 videos. Pretty good for beginners. Nothing fundamentally new or complex. But most of the tasks at the same level are quite accessible, which allows you to pump muscle memory to the level of reflexes.

CAD CAM Tutorials

By the way, about the classics of Indian tutorials. The CAD CAM Tutorials channel is 11 years old, 400 thousand subscribers Yes almost 600 videos. This is mostly a video about AutoCAD, but there's a lot there: Inventor, SolidWorks, Catia, Creo... Sketchup… Here it appeared due to the presence of about 50 videos on Fusion. Well... But there is something useful there.

The Fusion Essentials

CGBenner_8-1762436602624.png

34 thousand subscribers, although the channel is only 3 years old. During this time, about 60 videos have been made and the videos are not bad. Mostly practical.

Les Tutos Fusion 360 de Manu

CGBenner_9-1762436602624.png

French-language channel of the Belgian author. About 5 thousand. subscribers, about 120 videos. There is something interesting, but if you look at the Etienne channel, most likely you will not find "curiosities" here.

SA STUDIO

CGBenner_10-1762436602625.png

A fairly young channel, it is only 3 years old, only 1 thousand subscribers, but there are about 60 videos from the direction of Hard Surface, and you can say Game Design. Very thematic examples

Tyler Beck of Tech & Espresso

CGBenner_11-1762436602626.png

24 thousand subscribers on a channel with 200 videos. The joke is that the channel is 7 years old, but more than 75% of the videos have been created in the last two years. A very cool channel and "dude". A bunch of different topics. a bunch of practical and theoretical questions. There is even a video about Simulation, which is very rare. Recommend. In addition, he has very good English

khelifaoui Ammar

CGBenner_12-1762436602627.png

As you can see from the name, the author is a native Frenchman, but the video is released in English. It has the same tutorials from several programs. These are mainly SolidWorks, Inventor and Fusion. Of the latter, he made about 80 videos, 40 of which are linked to a "single course". He also has paid courses, and I even know people who bought it. Although some lessons make me want to spit. But that's it. A lot of information. can be helpful.

JIT CAD CAM

CGBenner_13-1762436602627.png

A channel about machining in Fusion.

Rick Cad Tutorial

CGBenner_14-1762436602628.png

The author of the channel is from Indonesia. I would say that this is a student who is just starting to study and uploads assignments from his university to YouTube. However, it can be useful to start with.

It should be said that there are very, very many channels similar to the latter. These are mainly people from the regions of India, the Middle East, and the Pacific region. Less common Latin America, Europe and the United States. Almost all the content is mostly duplicated, in the sense that they just repeat what they saw on other tutorials. Without explanations, with the same mistakes, or with the addition of our own... Well, in short... Therefore, let's stop there.

In the future, part 3 awaits us, where we will talk about the channels of authors who use Fusion as a tool to create something interesting. Their main direction is not on Fusion, but there is a lot to learn there.

Continued in parts three, and four.
