In the image below, we see that in Project Documentation folder 2 we already have an approved file with the required set of sheets for Construction Documents.

We see that it has a lower version of the model in the 0 Work in Progress folder; this also serves as a model record and thus freeze deliverables and have greater control and less loss of work already released for the work.

In the event of an update, we can easily spot changes between approved version packages.

Now the next step, publish the sheets in the ACCBuild platform. This job will be our project leader who is the one with the permissions enabled in the platform.

Thanks to these permissions by role, we guarantee that the information is being shared to the site by the designated role in the company.

The leakage of erroneous information is also avoided since people with access to folders 0 and 1 cannot see or enter folder 2.

In the drawings section, we have already configured the disciplines of the drawings, which are specified according to the AIA, which gives us a better organization.

You can also add more disciplines depending on the country, company and more.

Packages can be generated by percentage for example CD-25%, 50%, 75% and 100% or in our case by numbers of approved versions.

The system will automatically recognize the keys of the sheets since it reads the parameter of sheet number of Revit.

In case the file is a pdf we can define with a window where the sheet number is so that it is detected in all pages of it, reducing work and effort.

We see that it shows what versions of sheets this sheet has been in, for example, it was published in Electrical V1 and had updates in Electrical V4, V5 and V6.

The titles as well as the drawing numbers are read automatically and you can also define the area in case it does not come from a Revit publication set.

On site, our staff has smart tablets, screens and more technology to be able to carry out their work in a better way.

In the next and final installment we will see how these technologies are used thanks to Autodesk Construction Cloud.
