How do users earn an Autodesk Community badge?

It depends. There are various types of badges that can be earned and award levels for certain types of badges. Some badges are easy to earn (for example, signing into the Community for the first time will earn a Welcome Badge) and others require time, effort, and knowledge, such as hosting a Community Conversation, achieving 50+ Accepted Solutions, and winning design challenges.

How will I know if I’ve earned a badge?

You’ll receive a PM and email notification every time you earn a badge.

Where can I see the badges that I’ve earned?

You’ll be able to see your badge collection grow by logging into your Community profile, under the ‘Badge” tab.

Can employees earn badges?

Yes, all active members of the Autodesk Community are eligible to earn badges.

How will I know when new badges are released?

Badges will be released in phases over the coming months, so keep logging in to the Community to see what badges are available to earn now. We’ll update this post new batches of badges are released, so make sure to subscribe to it for the latest releases!

Will badges count towards Community Rank?

Badges will not count towards Community Rank at this time.

What will I see in my profile when I receive a badge?

• The name of the badge
• The date you earned the badge
• The number of other users on the Community who has also earned that badge
• If you click on the badge, you can read more about the actions that were required to achieve it.

Will badges be awarded retroactively?

Yes. However, you will only receive a notification that you have received a badge for those earned after the launch of badges. Members who have already met the condition for a badge before the badge becomes available in Community will see the badge(s) earned on their profile but will not receive an email or a real-time notification about the badge.
