When we use SAC, we define a chain of events. SAC does not allow two points with the same assigned number to be repeated if they follow the same path, but it does allow maintaining the same numbering when they follow a different path after a DECISION.
Now, if we consider the case where you have a chain generated by the YES path after a DECISION, and you want to repeat that chain along the NO path (to later modify the necessary parameters), what you do is copy all those elements and paste them. By default, SAC renumbers everything, since it understands that you are following the same path and knows that you cannot have points or links with the same identifier number. Well, when you have a long string and you want to keep the same items identified on both the YES and NO sides, you have to modify them one by one, and with long strings, that's a tedious task.
Therefore, the proposal would be that when you paste SAC, it should ask you first if you want to keep the numbering or renumber it.
For example: You have a point P1, and you copy and paste it; SAC automatically assigns P2 (if there are no more points). When pasting SAC, it should ask me if I want to keep P1 or renumber it.
