Parallell pipe runs

Parallell pipe runs

Now that the Pressure pipe functionality has gotten some work and is beginning to function nice, can we please get an ability to place separate pipe runes parallel to existing ones? In most pure piping projects, we almost always place more than one type of pipe in the ditch.

Manually having to draw a second or third pipe run next to the center pipe run is a tedious and mundane task, with poor accuracy in the results.

I would really like a feature like offset alignments or profiles, preferably tied to the original (center) pipe run, so if we during the later stages of design decide to move the ditch and pipes, they all move togheter.

what a time-saver it would be.

Thank you for posting this idea.

Regarding this portion:

Recently we added the ability to create a new pipe run as an offset to an alignment - which of course could be the pipe run alignment from another pipe run. Unfortunately, the offset is not dynamic like Offset Alignments and Widenings. We will keep this idea open until the offset is dynamic.
