Objects based on data references show up as out-of date when opening file

When you have a surface as a data reference in a drawing, any dependencies are shown as out-of date when you open the drawing even if those data references haven't changed.  For example, when you have a corridor that targets a surface referenced into the drawing that corridor shows up as out-of-date when you open the drawing even if that surface hasn't changed.  Can a hash or some other unique comparison be made of the data from the reference to ensure it hasn't changed?

This likely applies to other data references as well, such as corridors based on referenced alignments.
