MTEXT editor should behave more like Microsoft Word

The MTEXT editor should behave more like Microsoft Word or any other word processing program. When I hit the Enter key, a new line should be added automatically, even if that line is empty - instead the editor just adds a space.

Which version of AutoCAD are you using? I can't recall ever seeing the MText editor working like this.

Anyone know of a system variable that would make it behave that way?

The only way I can think of is if the Mtext was already wrapping onto the next line due to the Defined width property. In that case, if a return code is entered right after the last word before the wrap, the text in the next line inherits the space that was at the end of the top line.
