Move the subassembly on top of the others in the Section View in Civil 3D

Move the subassembly inserted as the last one to the assembly on top of the others in the Section View in Civil 3D in order to see particular elements correctly:

I support this idea. A possibility would be to specify an order in the assembly properties (tab construction):

Hi @f_furger

I partially share your opinion but not the place to add that improvement. The sort of the subassemblies decide the priority of which subassembly must be calculated before.

To add this new feature I would do it in the "section" tab in the Section View Group Properties. There is listed sections (surface sections and corridor sections) and there we change the styles. So we could have those buttons (up/down) to up/down the section in the list.

I generally do "QSELECT" by source name and then "sortOrder" but it is not dynamic if I add/remove new sources later.

Hello @joantopo

I know what you mean. The refernce order between input and output parameters would be affected.

The idea with the new tab in the Section View Groups would definitely be a better solution!

Very useful idea and improvement! I just talked with a custimer above this behaviour and have a support case at autodesk.
