When using Extract Corridor Solids, links are exported as Autocad Bodies.
It would be much more meaningful if the links were exported as Autocad 2D Solids, since 2D Solids have an 'Area' as a property. This 'Area' property could then be used to populate Property Sets.
@TimYarris An extra argument is that Belgian government uses Property Sets in their BIM workflows, so 'Areas' of e.g. pavings are needed in those properties/Property Sets. I think 2D Solids could be a solution to that, like 3D Solids are for the Volume that is present in the Corridor Extraction Property Sets. Thank you to take this in consideration.
Good idea. We solved this using Dynamo, basically exploding and recreating the bodies as 3D polycurves and using the area as property value. If it would export useful geometry it would be much easier.
