Easy way to show a preview of some Acad Entities in a formView .NET (or other Windows system)

To show a preview of the object that your Acad plugin can create from user inputs it's a pain. There's no, or just poor information on how to do it. And all explanations on the subject seems to use C++ ARX API's, what's hard to learn and code compared to .NET counterparts.

Thank you for your idea. This would need to be addressed in core AutoCAD, but we will share this with the AutoCAD team for review while customers continue to add feedback and vote on it.

Seems AcCtrl.dll (I think it belongs to DwgTrue Viewer) has this good ActiveX control named DwgViewrAcCtrl. It was exactly what I want. Maybe it could be added to core AutoCAD, so we don't need to install DWGTrue Viewer to get it's .dll.

You might find some code example here:

I did not test it yet, so I don't know if it still works.
