Dimensions (labels) to the corridor section (new SAC feature)

Dimensions (labels) to the corridor section (new SAC feature)

I would like to have a feature in Civil 3D to add labels (dimensions) in the corridor section in the section views.

Currently, there is the SectionLabels object to add labels, for example, to label Corridor Point Codes in Section View.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-civil-3d/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/...

But I would like to go beyond and to be able to label the dimensions of any link or edge of the shape (or between 2 points).

To make this, perhaps it would be necessary a new element in SAC, this new category will be: "label", with several types to add labels:

-Between 2 points. (3 ways:Horizontal dim, Vertical dimension, rotated)... similar than the "dim" command of the AutoCAD.

-Selecting a link.   (3 ways:Horizontal dim, Vertical dimension, rotated)... similar than the "dim" command of the AutoCAD.

- If we want to label all the links (edges) of a shape.. (3 ways:Horizontal dim, Vertical dimension, rotated)... similar than the "dim" command of the AutoCAD.

- etc

In the following sample, image that the yellow line is a link of the corridor section in the section view.

To create this labels, we would do it from SAC:

There was other label dimensions like "angular" between 2 links, etc..

Obviously, it is necessary a category in Civil 3D in the SectionLabels object, to create specific labels to set the values of the dimensions. (rotation, location of the text, leaders,...)

Then, In the Subassembly properties, we could choose a style for each label.
