Cogo point node

I've used Land Desktop for many years and I use cogo points not only for topo's but a lot of survey calculations as well.  Many of the icon features seam to be gone with C3D and my main concern are the points and osnap only gripping the node while hovering the number or label.  I've searched all over and can't find a simple fix to this issue.

Hi @Anonymous . I've tried with Civil 3D 2022.1 and it seems as though the node OSNAP snaps to the center of the COGO point when you hover over the point itself (not the label). I've tried this with a few different COGO point marker styles and it appears to work the same with them all.

Would you please let me know if I misunderstood your issue?
