AutoCAD SSM: Move "Sheet View" from one sheet to another.

AutoCAD SSM: Move "Sheet View" from one sheet to another.

I would love to be able to actually USE the sheet view functionality of the SSM.  But there is currently no way to move a sheet view from one sheet to another.  I would like the ability to right click on a Sheet View and tell it to move to another sheet.  Clicking it would bring up a list of all sheets in the SSM.

When I create a sheet view, I don't really care about what the view is looking at.  I just want to have a view name and number I can use in my labels:

  • A leader that says "SEE DETAIL X, SHEET Y".  That can be placed on ANY SHEET in the set.
  • A detail bubble with the detail number.  And the detail name.

This way if a detail gets renamed and/or renumbered and/or moved to a different sheet, all the callouts and the detail bubble would be automatically updated.

I realize this is for core AutoCAD, but I'm hopeful the C3D team can convince the Core team to implement this.

Here's a mock-up of what I think it should look like.
