You do not have permission to access Live Map Data.

Hello, 

I am attempting to resolve an issue i am having with Civil 3D 2018. I am unable to open the maps within a drawing. It gives me an error message that i don't have permission to access live map data and prompts me to open a link where you install an update to address the issue but this is not working for me. 

I spent hours on the forums trying various things that worked for other people but no success yet.

I am a student with student subscription. Could this possibly be the reason why i am unable to access the maps?

Also try to open  the software with 'Run as Administrator mode' and have a look.
