XRefs contents disappear

Hi all,

I have been having issues with trying to attach an XRef so I can trace some features off of it. I add the XRef to the drawing, and as soon as I pan over or try and move the image, the contents disappear. I can still see the border and a white trim around the border, but nothing else. I have tried attaching the same image as an XRef to another drawing and did not have the same problem. Has anyone else had this issue before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried regen and running an audit but no luck yet. Thank you in advance!

You're saying Xref, but you really mean image (jpg, png, tif, etc.) correct?

Yes, a jpeg

Hard to say - since it works in a different drawing, could be related to this parent DWG.

I don't suppose you can attach the DWG and JPG here?

A raster's performance will vary from raster-to-raster, from drawing-to-drawing and from format-to-format. There are too many variables to pinpoint your specific issue.

Would it be possible to upload your raster? Or put it on the cloud with a link for access.

Hi all,

Thank you for the suggestions. I got back to the office after a day off and for some reason it is working again. Not sure why, but if it's working I will take it. Any ideas as to the cause are still greatly appreciated for my own understanding 🙂

Jacob
