I referenced an existing topo file to my proposed site plan. Normally when i hover over an empty space in the existing topo file a white block shows the existing elevation over that point. This doesnt work when I try it on the proposed site plan. I want to still be able to see the existing topo elevation in the proposed site drawing.
I just tried to do this with a blank dwg and a known good surface and it didn't work. I'm not sure the popup box is supposed to work through xref. I never "Data Reference", maybe it works that way.
