I have an xref in my Construction Drawing and if I set layer color overrides they get reverted back to the xref colors anytime anyone opens the xref and saves it. Does not even have to be edited just saved. Once I see the Xfef needs a reload I lose my color overrides. I have the Retain overrides to layer properties set. Shouldn't this setting keep my overrides after a reload?
Check that VISRETAIN = 1.
I am not sure, but I think VISRETAIN is separate from the layer override setting.
