Xref Cut/Fill of grading feature and corridor to show on drawings.

In our current project, we are working on representing the cut/fill slope with 2D hatch on the Xref, which I will use for the sheet. However, the client would like us to Xref the Civil3D model file to the sheet and show the cut/fill area as illustrated in the image below. This process will require significant time to freeze or hide all unnecessary layers. Does anyone have an optimized solution to streamline this task?

Thanks in advance.

Generally when I only want to show a few layers in a xref, I work backwards: I freeze all the xref layers, then unfreeze the ones I want to show

This is the current direction I am working on. Just wondering if have any solution that looks like data shortcut for the grading.

Just data reference the cut/fill surface. Or Xref your model and turn every layer off apart from your cut and fill surface. Either workflow should only takes you minutes.
