I was wanting to know if anyone has seen a charting tool app for Autocad that will scan a project folder of dwg drawings (doing a whole server of drawings would be interesting) and look at all the xref/dref's in the drawings and generate something like a social network chart like netdraw can. Ideally at each node of the chart the drawing name and hyperlink to the drawing would be displayed and maybe you could have rename ad re pathing tools as well. This would be great for when you take over a project and have to quickly figure out how some else has linked everything together. When you do not know their standards or as in my case they have invented there know which is completely different to standard.
