Since I am completely new to Civil 3D and I need to develop an Longitudinal section and Cross section of a proposed football field. I developed both of them but since the ground is almost flat the section view doesn't have much elevation difference and shows straight line. I need to create a zoomed in view to see the elevation difference. I tried setting the minimum and maximum elevation but that only changes the limit to the section grid and doesn't 'zoom in' on the view.

It sounds like you need to expand the vertical exaggeration. That is done in the profile style. Even though I use undulating surfaces, all of our engineering sections are depicted as 5x.
Thank You @dbinkney. This really helped me solve my problem.
