Working with .SSF Files

Hello All,

I've received some .SSF (Trimble Survey) files for an older project from a past consultant. I believe there is no way to directly import these into Civil 3D, and I do not believe I can get the files in a format that is directly compatible with Civil 3D from the past consultant. With that being said, what is the best way to work with these types of files in Civil 3D? I'm assuming I will need a file converter of some sort. Thank you!

You're going to need Trimble software for that, or find someone who has Trimble software and who can export the .ssf to some sort of ascii or to .xls.

Post one of the SSF files if you can, some file formats can be determined (so to speak).

We ended up getting this data processed through a Trimble distributor - quick and easy. Thanks!
