Won't access my files or templates

When attempting to create a new drawing, usually you can do a quick save and it opens up the file explorer of the computer you are using. However, my autocad is being weird now and making me type the path into the command bar rather than open up my file explorer. Anyone have this issue before and know how to solve it?

Set FILEDIA to 1

As a quick fix in that situation. Enter a tilde (~) on the command line and the file dialog will come up.
