Windows spinny thing and unresponsive Civil 3D 2022

This is happening far too regularly...!!!! It takes several minutes for Civil 3D to become responsive again

I know it sounds strange but it works about half the time. Keep Edge open switch to it and type an random letter in address/bar search bar and then search/enter. When you switch back C3d will be active. Or you can keep the forum open and click a link. I don't know if this works with google or other search engines.

You know, they call it computer science for a reason. I wish someone could find the person at Autodesk who actually wrote the code that is causing the delay, who could tell us why the delay is there.

 

Think of all the man hours wasted (a) waiting on the delay, and (b) speculating on workarounds to "fix" it.

 

OH BTW: ITALICS IS STILL BROKEN HERE IN THE FORUMS.
