Windening behavior in curves

Hi all,

I have a question about the widening behavior in curves:

I am designing a road where the width has to transition from 5meters to 4.8meters, over the lenght of a curve.

I did this by apllying a widening on the offset alignments. But it makes the curve all blocky (see image). It is not just a visual thing, because the corridor targeting it gets all blocky as well.

Is there a way to make this more smooth? I have been looking for a mid-ordinate-distance somewhere, but have not found one in the alignment or widening properties.

Any work-arounds are welcome too.

Thank you in advance!

Sincerely,

Jochem

Increase your Frequencies through the curve.

Thank you for replying Tim.

Increasing the frequencies does not work, as shown below.

The problem is in the widening, not in the corridor.
