Hello,

I have an issue when I use the "create multiple views"/function in C3D. I.e. when I am creating "section view groups".

No layouts are imported and "sheet set" is not created.

I have been searching the web for clues, but found nothing yet.

Here is my setup. It works fine for other files...

That doesn't happen Until you use the >>output tab>>> pan production panel>>> create section sheets

Aha, thank you for the tip.

However, that creates only one sheet/layout, even though the section view group is distributed over several layouts.

And I am certain that this generation of (several) layouts happened automatically in some of my previous drawings when I drew the section view group the first time.

That sound really strange. You are not getting a sheet set either?

when you generate the cross section views the first page of the wizard has the selection for placement “draft” or plan production did you change that for plan production?

Yes it is strange.

No, I always use the "plan production", so that is not the cause.

If I don't use "plan production", I wouldn't get the automatic fitting and placement of section views within the borders of "viewport" in the layout as visible in the first screenshot.

I don't have access to civil3d at the moment but you will see it  near the last page of the wizard

No worries.

It's not so urgent.

Hmm, I still don't seem to find it. I added some "material" to the material list just to get the last dialogue options available too, but there's no such option there either.

Btw, here is the file where the sheet set was automatic, see the "dst-file". Hopefully I remember correct that this was initiated when I created the section view group. I didn't know of this tool before, so it doesn't make sense to me that I would make the sheet set from own initative...

Verify you are using a Section DWT with the viewport type set to section.

Yes, the viewport in the template is set to "Section" in "viewport type". 🙂
