PC and PT are the same as BC and EC.

PC=Point of curvature (Begin curve). PT= Point of tangency (End curve).

What I can never figure out is why OOTB (out of the box), Civil 3d insists on labeling the MIDpoint of a circular curve.  I have never seen that before in any Engineering software or standard practice.

It is worth understanding the geometric properties of horizontal curves.  I usually refer to an old surveyors manual on my desk, but here is an online one.  https://engineering.purdue.edu/~ce361/JFRICKER/HW/HC_02fHW6.pdf

Going back further, attached are copies out of the old TI calculator manual. I give this to all the new co-ops. I agree with Neil, I always make sure I check OFF the MIDpoint of a curve!
