In this Autodesk Knowledge Network article about why pressure pipe runs break, it says one cause is "using plain-end Fittings to connect between Pipes".  What is a plain-end fitting?

Thanks so much!

Well, I don't know about the C3D world, but in the real world, a plain end fitting is when the end of a pipe has the same size OD on both ends.  Compare that to a "bell end" pipe that has one larger end that fits over the smaller end of the previously installed pipe.  Plain end fittings require a coupler to join to other plain end fittings.
