Using Overlay Assembly Query

I have an existing forest track (i.e. stone construction) and I want to widen and overlay as shown in the sceenshot. I have used the OverlayWidenMatchSlope1 assembly but can't get it to work as I want (possibly becasue it doesn't).

I want to end up with a track 4.5m wide and I have the edges of the existing track available to use as width targets (which may be over 4.5m apart in places) so the question is: Is there a way that I can achieve this 4.5m width uisng the standard assemblies??

Thanks

What doesn't work? Adding the 6F2 section below the wearing course? I'm thinking I would do it in two passes; OverlayWidenMatchslope (0.35) with a shoulder piece added (to get the trapazoid shape) from the edge of existing. Paste the surfaces and use for the top course OWM. I'm not used to finishing the edges the way your sket shows

Not overly concerned with the trapezoidal shape but more concerned with getting a "top surface" that is 4.5m wide i.e. the widen section is a wide as needs to be when the existing road edges vary in width. If the existing is wider than 4.5m then no widening takes place.

Then the edge of existing is you insert point and your proposed edge is the width control. So what doesn't work?

I took the south side of the existing road as a 2D poly and offset 4.5m but was getting odd things happening when the north side of the existing road was wider than the 4.5m offset so I used both the north side and 4.5m offset as the width target (targeted furthest offset) and it seems to be ok now
