grazie

Fabiana,
"...quando tento di generare la superficie..."
Details please on what you are doing and how it is failing. Can you post your data(or a link to where you got it) and drawing? Zippola everything together.

Hey @Anonymous
In order to be able to export the surface to LandXML you need to create a TIN surface based on the DEM file.
I recorded a screencast for you, the program is in Russian, but I think you will understand;)

grazie mille. Spero possiate aiutarmi.

I am glad to help.
You can add all your DEM files to the surface.
If something doesn’t work out, attach your DEM files to the message, as advised @Pointdump
It will be easier to help you.

Fabiana,
That's a huge area, which presents a problem. Your Surface in Civil 3D will make your drawing so heavy that it will slow to a crawl. What "software esterno" are you using?
As @Maksim.Melnikov.BY suggests, you can add all those asc files to your Surface. Another idea would be to combine them in ReCap, or MicroDEM or QGIS.

Fabiana,
Thanks for posting your files.
I first tried to combine the asc files in ReCap, but ReCap will not accept asc files. I even tried to first convert them into las/laz files with LasTools, but that didn't work either.
Combining all those asc files in QGIS produces a very usable GeoTiff with which you can create a Surface in Civil 3D. (I was surprised. I thought such a large surface would bog down C3D.) Then I used Export to LandXML. GeoTiff attached. The LandXML file ended up 290MB, so I couldn't attach to this Forum.

If you have ArcGIS/Arcmap you can bring in all the asc files and then export by using "ProjectRaster" of the area you need with what cell (grid) size you choose.  We will experiment on cell size to get the balance of quality vs dwg size.

Fabiana,
I had some time, so I experimented a little.
I used Raster Design to bring in all those asc files. But when I tried to "Merge" them, I couldn't select them.
Next I created 5 surfaces with the asc files. (just the northern half) I created one more Surface called "Pasted Surfaces" and pasted in the 5 surfaces. I exported that surface to XML. (59.6MB) Attached.
