Hi,
I am currently working on the 2021 UKIE template and it is great to see the various upgrades in subassemblies, code set styles, etc. in line with the UK design standards and Uniclass 2015 layering. However, while doing a trial on the QTO Manager and the default Pay Item 'UKIE Rate Item Example', the Civil 3D template doesn't quite tune in with it.
So, if someone could help with below, would be great!
1) Is there a customised template available with Autodesk already that includes the Pay Items assigned to the link, point codes, etc., that I may not be aware of?
2) All UKIE road subassemblies appear to have link codes for the surface course (Top, Pave) only but I can't find link codes for the base, subbase, etc. layers. This would be easy to use when creating my own Pay Item to calculate areas / volumes for subsequent layers.
For a trial solution, I am just using the surface course and adding formulae to calculate quantities for bottom layers. Am I missing something here or the later is the only solution?
3) When assigning depths in the formulae - I am manually entering the basecourse, subbase, etc. depths? Is there an automated way of doing this.
