I am using Autodesk Civil 3D 2023 and I am trying to figure out how annotative scaling is working as I'm finding it difficult to understand.
I am currently working in Model Space where my scale is set to 1" = 20'
I have Dimensions and Text styles setup to be annotative and seem to be working properly in the model space. For example, my text size is set to .08 and if I measure my text in paper space it is .08 as intended.
I am trying to setup 2 different paper spaces with 2 different scales, where one is set to 1" = 20' and the other is set to 1" = 10' but the viewports text sizes don't seem to be scaling down to 1" = 10' and seem to still be at 1" = 20'.
In the properties of my text and dimensions I do have those 2 scales applied to the list as well but it seems to be prioritizing the 1" = 20' over the 1" = 10'. If I delete the 1" = 20' from the list and re-add it back it seems to prioritize the 1" = 10' but having to do that is kind of inconvenient.

Yes I do I also didn't realize how quickly others replied here. First time asking for support, and apologize for any missing information.
I am using Feet, this is a drawing with a Plot Plan (1" = 20') and a Grading Plan (1" = 10') and I need the Grading Plan to be at a smaller scale to show more details for the grades. The way I change my vp scale is by adjusting it in the bottom ribbon panel when you double click inside the VP.
I have attached a view image to show the scaling and text I am talking about. I have attached my viewport properties for my Grading Plan. All the text has both scales for 1" = 20' and 1" = 10' but only when I manually went into the viewport and adjusted the annotation scale by deleting the 1" = 20' and then later re-adding it did it stay at 1" = 10' in the viewport as shown in the screenshot attached.
I also attached a screenshot from the Plot Plan with the text size still showing at the 1" = 20' scale as intended as a reference.

The annotative scales need to be named exactly the same or they are considered different anno scales. You have two different for 10 scale (1"=10' & 1" = 10'). One has spaces before and after the = and one doesn't so these are two different anno scales. You need to set everything to one of them and delete the other one.
