Trouble Subdividing Parcels

Okay, this is going to be tough. Not tough in terms of the issue, but tough in me trying to explain it properly, so bear with me. I'll go through the initial steps so as to give as much background as I can. Okay, first, I defined my site. Next, I created my alignments and created the ROWs from them. Now, as most of my roads end in cul-de-sacs, I created polylines for each, and then edited the ROWs to incorporate them.

So far, so good, although I did notice that the ROW parcels seemed a bit odd - it was as if the cul-de-sacs were separate parcels! But, everything looked okay, so I let it go. Okay, next, I offset the ROW lines to created the depths of the lots, and then drew lines to define the extent of those lots, essentially creating blocks, which  I then started to subdivide into individual lots. Now, here's where things went south. Some reason that I can NOT for the life of me figure out, some of those blocks had two labels. Yet, there was no line separating them into two distinct areas! If I clicked on the label, the lines defining the block would highlight, and it was clear that they did NOT close - it was as if I had three sides of a box, and two three-sided boxes were facing each other. I hope that's clear. Sorry if it isn't, but I don't know how else to describe this situation.

So now, no matter what I do, I can NOT get these blocks - where there are two that should be one - to join, and I've tried everything I can think of. For the most part, everything I try just makes things worse! Right now, I'm trying to undo my latest screw up, and my computer has frozen. I'll probably get the old "Fatal Error" message any minute now and it'll crash.

So, any thoughts on this? I'm new at parcels, so I guess I've screwed something up, but I just don't have a clue what to do to fix it.

Thanks!

Here you go, hope it helps. The white lines of the lots ending at 423 come up to the red lines of lot 424. I can't get them to merge or close, or anything else!

My thought is to delete red lines for 424 and then recreate them with new lines that you convert to parcel lines to see if that removes the problem.

Tried that - no go. Tried literally erasing every line of that block of lots, drew the outer line that defines the overall block as a polyline, and then tried to define it as a parcel.

Got the exact same thing!

Just from experience with parcels - polylines are bad to use when converting to parcel segments.

Something else you might check for and I know this might sound crazy, but make sure that all layers are on and thawed to make sure that a parcel segments not hiding somewhere...

Does it give you a boundary for both lots 423 & 424 when you select them from prospector in the site list of parcels?
