I recently started a new job with a company doing civil survey with an absolute disaster of a template (text issues causing hangs, over a dozen object data tables still attached, etc.). In the process of setting up a template from scratch I found that I could not run any of the reports from the toolbox in drawings created with the new template. This appears to be an issue when creating a drawing without a template, as well as with the standard templates: acad.dwt, _Autodesk Civil 3D (Imperial) NCS.dwt. This occurs using my profile loaded using a shortcut as well as the default Civil 3D profile loaded when launching from the start menu without the additional settings. When starting a new drawing or opening an existing drawing created with the company template all of the reports run fine. Is there a way of ensuring that a new template will include the reports without having to try and update the existing template?
