There is a problem with the Script Control (msscript.ocx).

I cannot create or edit pipe networks anymore.  I get this error message:

 

There is a problem with the Script Control (msscript.ocx).

This problem may be corrected by reinstalling Internet Explorer or by reregistering the control.There is a problem with the Script Control (msscript.ocx).

I updated to Windows 11 and the latest C3D. Everything worked prior.

I have run into this one.  Refer to this document:

"There is a problem with the Script Control (msscript.ocx)..." error message pops up in AutoCAD Civi...

 

My fix was to replace the files in this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared the ones from the .zip file in the above link.   (Aec21Bit Files folder).

You may also need to run a registry update as noted in step 7.  They used to have a .reg available which simplified the process, but I don't see it now.

I did a clean uninstall. Civil 3D, Autocad, and everything that goes with it.  All versions. Deleted registry items and folders. Then reinstalled Civil 3D.  Took me all afternoon but so far the problem seems to be fixed.  We shall see......
