Text Rotation Angle

Hi

While entering text into CIVIL 3D Drawing, I am finding it strange that to get the "Text in Horizontal" I have to enter "Rotation angle of 90" and for vertical text, I have to enter "rotation angle of 0".

Is there any specific reason for this strange results or is there any settings which are not set correctly?

Hi @abhijit.wagh,  does this happen in every drawing or just one?  Make sure the UCS is set to world.

No, it's happening in every new drawing and I am sure the UCS is set to World.

However, I have just figured out the solution. In the Drawing Units, The Base angle settings under  Direction Control was not set to East. After reassigning it to East, the text rotation angle issue is found to be resolved.

Have you checked the angle rotation settings in the UNITS command ? It can be set to any of the main axis, and angles can be measured both clockwise and anti-clockwise from the selected north direction.
