Text in Paper Space disappeared!

I used the Boundary trim tool (Planning and analysis - Tools - Map Edit) to trim some vectors in Model and when I went to my Layouts all objects in paper space were deleted.  I am using Civil 3d 2016, and am sure that this did not occur in 2014 and previous versions. Will this be fixed?

All objects disappeared or only text?

If it's just the text, check to see if the text is annotative, and if so, check that it has an annotative scale associated with it that matches the layout scale.

All objects (plines, lines, blocks and text). The text was not annotative.
